Your exported book opens with: cover, title page, copyright page, dedication, contents, then your chapters. Blank fields are left out.
Cover
Covers appear before the first page and after the last when you read, and in your EPUB. A 2:3 image (like 1600 × 2400 px) fits a book cover best.
Export & backup
Import a .txt, .docx, .epub or .pdf to add its chapters. Export an EPUB for Apple Books and Kindle, a print-ready PDF for KDP or IngramSpark, or a Word manuscript in standard submission format for an editor. Export a backup now and then.
Daily backups
A copy of your whole book is saved automatically the first time you open Inkhorse each day. The last 14 are kept. Restoring saves your current book as a backup first, so you can always go back.
Words per page is measured by filling full pages with paragraphs from the chapter you're on, at the current type settings. Book pages are an estimate; each chapter starts on a new page. Tap a device to read on it.
